Step 1 - Upload your data
Select your target customers using your preferred data management tool. This could be Microsoft Excel or Access, Sage ACT!, GoldMine or just a simple text file.
Then simply log on to DM Play and upload your data. DM Play processes as little or as much data as you want it to.

Step 2 - Select your design template
Simply create a new campaign and select the gamecard, newsletter or other type of mailer to use as a template.
All designs are specific to your company. Gamecards use industry standard gaming logic and are digitally printed making each gamecard unique.

Step 3 – Enter gamecard parameters
Now take the basic templates you have selected for your campaign and define the winning combinations you want to use on your gamecard.
You need to allocate a win (or no win) to each of the records in your data file – e.g. 10 winners will receive a win of £5.

Step 4 – Enter letter text
Write the copy that appears on the mailer. As you type, the sample template shows you in real time what your finished mailer will look like.
DM Play won’t let you add too much text and will only allow the use of specific fonts, colours and sizes to ensure brand consistency.

Step 5 – Confirm and send to print
Once you’re happy with your direct marketing campaign, you confirm all the details and DM Play will create a unique gamecard for each record in the data file.
DM Play chooses the results at random so that only the system knows who receives which prize. The campaign is then sent to print and will be mailed within 48 hours.

If a recipient responds to a gamecard, it can be verified either online or via a barcode scanner, before the prize is issued. All campaign results can be tracked from within DM Play.
